This a hardback maroon colored book with gold plated pages. There is a small missing patch on the spine.Washington dedicated this book to his wife, Mrs. Margaret James Washington, and brother, Mr. John H. Washington. There are seventeen chapters.This book has a photocopy of a picture and signature of Booker T. Washington. Each new chapter of the book is identified by a large and more bold printed letter. The index is split into two different sides of the same page in order to save space and money.
